How does Minisend work?

Yes. Pay with M-Pesa or Airtel Money and receive USDC on Base, landing in the same balance you settle out of. No exchange account needed. Orders run from KES 20 to KES 250,000.

Do I have to convert my deposit right away?

Accepted Answer

No. Deposits are not converted to local currency on arrival. They land in a single balance and stay there as USDC until you decide to settle. Routing across chains is the part Minisend automates; converting to local money is a decision you make, at the moment you want the cash.

Ghana pays out to mobile money and bank accounts in GHS. Uganda pays out to mobile money and bank accounts in UGX. More African markets are in active expansion.

How long to receive funds?

M-Pesa in Kenya lands in about 10 seconds once the deposit has settled. Bank and mobile money payouts in Nigeria, Ghana, and Uganda take 5 to 30 minutes. Before that, your deposit has to arrive: USDC paid on Base starts settling immediately, USDC from another chain takes a few minutes, and USDT converts to spendable USDC in 30 to 50 seconds.

There is no subscription and no account fee. Holding a balance is free, and so is earning on it. Conversion pricing is quoted per account, so email info@minisend.xyz for your rate. Whatever your rate, the fee and the live exchange rate are shown before you confirm, and conversions originating on Base are gasless.

What are the minimum and maximum amounts?

A settlement order can be anywhere from 0.50 to 50,000 USDC. Per currency, the payout limits are KES 20 to KES 250,000, GHS 5 to GHS 5,000, and UGX 500 to UGX 5,000,000. Coming the other way, you can spend KES 20 to KES 250,000 to buy stablecoins.

No. That is the whole point. One 0x address accepts USDC across 19 chains and USDT across 14, and Solana is supported alongside them. You send from wherever your assets already are, and Minisend routes the deposit. No bridges, no manual swaps, no chain switching, no wrapped assets to unwind.

How does a cross-chain deposit actually work?

Minisend detects which chain and which token arrived, routes the deposit through its own settlement rails, and credits your balance as spendable USDC. USDC on EVM chains moves by a native burn-and-mint path, so there are no wrapped tokens involved. USDT and Solana deposits are routed through Minisend’s swap layer and land as USDC in 30 to 50 seconds. You do not manage any of it.

Transport security is HSTS enforced site-wide with strict Content Security Policy headers. Transactions are monitored in real time across every supported chain. API keys are stored as hashes, scoped, and revocable, and outbound webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256.
