The short version

An off-ramp order runs from 0.50 to 50,000 USDC. M-Pesa payouts land in about 10 seconds; bank and mobile money payouts take 5 to 30 minutes. There is no subscription and no account fee. Conversion pricing is quoted per account — email info@minisend.xyz.

Everything below is the detail.

Amount limits

ScopeMinimumMaximum
Any off-ramp order0.50 USDC50,000 USDC
KES payoutKES 20KES 250,000
GHS payoutGHS 5GHS 5,000
UGX payoutUGX 500UGX 5,000,000
Hosted checkout session0.01 USDC10,000 USDC
On-ramp order (buying USDC with KES)KES 20 charged, KES 100 net after feesKES 250,000

Both limits apply at once. A UGX payout has to satisfy the 0.50 USDC order floor and the UGX 500 payout floor.

How fees work

There is no subscription, no monthly minimum, and no account fee. Minisend does not publish a rate card: conversion pricing is set per account, so email info@minisend.xyz and the sales team will quote it for your volume. Whatever your rate, the fee and the live exchange rate are on screen before you confirm any order.

Two things that are not part of the quote but affect what you net:

  • Gas. Conversions originating on Base are gasless. Sending from any other chain costs that chain's normal network fee, which goes to the network, not to Minisend.
  • Rate behaviour. For KES, GHS, and UGX the exchange rate is executed live at settlement. For NGN it is locked when the order is created, which is why NGN orders expire sooner.

Settlement times

StageTypical time
USDC deposit on BaseSettlement starts immediately
USDC deposit from another supported chainA few minutes
USDT deposit, any supported chain30-50 seconds to spendable USDC on Base
M-Pesa payoutAbout 10 seconds
Bank or mobile money payout5-30 minutes, following the provider's timeline
Mobile money on-ramp to USDCMinutes

Order expiry

Order typeWindow
Off-ramp: KES, GHS, UGX30 minutes
Off-ramp: NGNAbout 5 minutes
Hosted checkout session30 minutes

The Naira window is shorter because the NGN rate is locked at order creation, and a locked rate cannot be held open indefinitely. An expired order is marked expired and costs you nothing.

Which chain should you send from?

If you have a choice, this is the whole decision:

Your situationBest moveWhy
USDC already on BaseSend as-isSettlement starts immediately and the conversion is gasless
USDC on another supported chainSend as-isA few minutes to settle; do not bridge to Base first
USDT on a supported chainSend as-isConverts to spendable USDC in 30-50 seconds
Stablecoins on an unsupported chainMove to a supported chainThe address covers 19 chains for USDC and 14 for USDT

The thing not to do is bridge manually before depositing. Minisend routes across chains on its own settlement rails, so a manual bridge only adds a fee, a wait, and a chance of error.

Countries and payout rails

The on-ramp runs in the other direction for Kenya: pay with M-Pesa or Airtel Money and receive USDC on Base or Celo, or USDT on Celo.

Supported chains

USDC, 19 chains: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Codex, EDGE, Ethereum, HyperEVM, Ink, Linea, Monad, Morph, Optimism, Plume, Polygon, Sei, Sonic, Unichain, World Chain, XDC.

The same 0x address works on all of them.

Yield on idle balances

USDC held in a Minisend Wallet earns up to 4.59% APY automatically. There is no fee to enable it, no staking step, no protocol to choose, and no lock-up. The balance stays spendable and the live APY is always visible in the wallet. See automated yield.

Business onboarding

Live payouts require KYB: incorporation documents, founder and director details, and proof of address for both the business and the director, dated within the last three months. Acknowledgement arrives within one business day and most reviews finish within two. Off-ramp API access is activated on request at info@minisend.xyz.

These figures are current as of August 2026. The machine-readable version lives at minisend.xyz/pricing.md.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum amount I can cash out on Minisend?
An off-ramp order starts at 0.50 USDC. Each currency also has its own payout floor: KES 20, GHS 5, and UGX 500. Both limits apply, so the order has to clear the USDC minimum and the local minimum.
What is the maximum I can cash out in one order?
50,000 USDC per off-ramp order. Per currency the ceilings are KES 250,000, GHS 5,000, and UGX 5,000,000. Hosted checkout sessions cap at 10,000 USDC.
How does Minisend charge fees?
There is no subscription, no account fee, and no published rate card. Conversion pricing is set per account, so email info@minisend.xyz for a quote. Whatever your rate, the fee and the live exchange rate appear before you confirm an order, and conversions originating on Base are gasless.
How long does a payout take?
M-Pesa payouts arrive in about 10 seconds. Bank and mobile money payouts take 5 to 30 minutes. Before the payout, the deposit settles: immediately for USDC on Base, a few minutes from another chain, and 30-50 seconds for USDT to become spendable USDC.
Which chain should I send USDC from?
Send from whichever chain your USDC already sits on. Base is fastest, settling immediately and gasless. Other supported chains take a few minutes. Do not bridge to Base manually first, because Minisend already routes across chains and a manual bridge only adds cost and risk.
What happens if I do not pay an order in time?
The order expires and costs you nothing. The window is 30 minutes for KES, GHS, and UGX orders and hosted checkout sessions, and about 5 minutes for NGN orders because the Naira rate is locked at creation.
What are the Minisend API rate limits?
The default is 60 requests per minute per IP. Checkout creation is 30 per minute, off-ramp order creation and deposit submission are 20 per minute each, on-ramp order creation is 10 per minute, and on-ramp payment prompts are limited to 5 per phone number per 10 minutes. Support can raise these.
